CONTINUE TO: Part Two – Understanding the Strengthening Families Protective Factors

NOTES ABOUT THIS ONLINE TRAINING:

In partnership with several states and jurisdictions that are implementing Strengthening Families in their child welfare systems, the center for the study of social policy (CSSP) has developed a scripted curriculum introducing the Protective Factors Framework and the small but significant changes workers can make in their child welfare practice. Some of the curriculum content will also be relevant for other audiences.

Three of the eight moduleS in the full CSSP curriculum are adapted here for use IN the West Virginia System of Care, and are divided into multiple segments.

To download the entire curriculum, visit https://www.cssp.org/reform/strengtheningfamilies/practice

for the wv system of care partners—These online modules meet learning objectives formerly provided by Family Centered Practice and Family Youth Engagement STRATEGIES, which have been discontinued as of Fall 2017.
